This is a pretty basic product but I didn't realize the importance of the customization feature until I received it. I *thought* I knew exactly what height I needed. However, since I switched to a standing desk, my needs have changed a bit and it was great that I was able to adjust the height to suit my needs. Also, the little slot on the front became a great place for my iPhone! To be honest I'm bad at giving things back so I'd probably just write it off as not quite right for my needs - it's so nice that it works!
