The quality of this strap is significantly lower than the Garmin branded strap. The soft silicone feels quite comfortable, but because it's more flexible, part of the tether doesn't hold the band and keeps coming loose. Makes me mad. It's enough that I prefer not to wear my watch at all anymore. waste of money. It's worth spending the extra cash for a real band replacement. It's also longer than the original Forerunner strap, so the extra strap just clings to anything, adding to the frustration that it's not doing its job of keeping the watch on your wrist.
