update 8/10/21 – still in effect. Carrot and watermelon stain them, but the seals are still good. Not even the bag I use in the banana freezer. So far, so good! Very easy to clean on first use. Hand wash with a kitchen brush and warm soapy water. Washed and drizzled with white vinegar, towel dried and secured with a ceramic jar to complete drying. I use a lot of frozen bananas to make V Ice Cream (vegan ice cream) so I'll use a few at a time. . I zip it all the way up, squeeze out the air and roll it up, then finish zipping it up. After 3 days it still looks vacuumed. Also used for salad as the brand I buy from Costco comes in a large rectangular plastic container that takes up a lot of space in my small fridge. Excellent permanent seal. No odor or odor from the product. BPA free, food grade PEVA, PVC, lead and chloride free. The seal is so strong that I'm pretty sure they're tight, although I haven't tested them for liquid yet. They are also great for travel! So many uses. Try it!
