My daughter loves the quote She thought she could, so she did. As soon as we saw it we knew it was perfect for her. It has a thin starting chain. It's very light but still has a nice finish but it seems to disappear around the neck. The clasp is a typical lobster clasp and works well. There is a short extension section to adjust the position of the necklace when worn. The charm itself is where it really shines. The text (screenplay) is small and reads only with careful study, but my daughter likes that it doesn't shout out to the world that she needs a little encouragement.
