Mom used this in the hospital after her stroke. When I called to buy one and described it, most places hadn't heard of it. When she used it, her right hand barely moved. The Velcro on this device helped her keep her non-grip hand in place to relearn how to use the walker. By the time she got into rehab some of the movement had returned and the physical therapists wanted to use the walker without that extra grip so we never used it after our hospital stay.
