I just love this item, I've watched it and waited months for it to be in stock. As much as I love the size and wireless connectivity, there are a few issues. First, it doesn't fit the base snugly, which is why mine fell off and broke the corner. Second, it never heats up like all real salt lamps, it is the heat that the salt releases into the air and purifies the air. Real salt lamps get a little wet and melt a little, so they work. This one is always cold. So as a gift, for something beautiful, for greatness. it is absolutely perfect and i would recommend it but for air purification it doesn't work like a real salt lamp and the problem of it not being tight on the base is a big problem, 2 corners are already cracked within 48 hours. I bought it when I slightly moved the table it was standing on and the block flew off the base and fell to the floor. The block is not attached to the base at all, it just sits on it with no anti-slip pads.
