Review on 🌿 Yes To Tea Tree Scalp Relief: Soothing Treatment for Dry, Itchy Scalps (3 Fl Oz) by Myel Shuey

My family and I only use (high strength) natural sulfate-free shampoos. However, it recently came to my attention that my popular brand contains the preservative potassium sorbate, which can cause cancer when exposed to citric acid (vitamin C) (hence Prop65 labeling if the person lives in California). I was looking for a new daytime shampoo when I placed my last order. Yes To's list of 98% natural ingredients caught my attention. And while I wasn't exactly looking for a shampoo specifically designed for scalp issues, I liked that the shampoo contains the natural antibacterial/antiseptic ingredients of tea tree and sage. Unfortunately, I cannot use the bottle that was sent to me recently. in fulfillment of my order placed on December 23, 2019 due to brown/brown mold found on the bottom of the bottle (batch #602373LV2). picture attached. This is embarrassing to say the least as there is no expiration date printed on the bottle or a production date printed on it. However, looking at other photos provided by consumers, their shampoo bottles appear to be newer/fresher as the shampoo formula looks fairly clear. The shampoo I received is a muddy yellow in comparison and has brownish brownish mold(?) on the underside. The support team was professional and solved the problem pretty quickly. I threw away the bottle I received and won't order again as I don't feel comfortable/safe with the lack of quality control in the warehouses. Decided to leave this caveat in case other buyers might be interested in trying/ordering Yes To Scalp Relief Tea Tree & Sage Oil Shampoo around the same time (ie early January 2020). PS note for those with color treated hair: In my haste, I hadn't realized that Yes To Shampoo contains coco-glucosides. In my experience, this particular mousse/cleanser washes the color out of the hair quickly - not recommended for colored hair.
