Easy to assemble for the most part

As it shipped from the manufacturer (makes sense. Thing weighs 96 pounds!) Shipping took a little longer than I'm used to. Worth the wait! I love everything about this product: the style, the large but not overwhelming size, the storage space. It fits PERFECTLY in my mid-century modern dining room. As for the build. The first thing that caught my eye was "Two people are recommended to facilitate the assembly of this product." PFFTTTT! I am a 4'10" female, weigh less than 100 pounds and assembled this dresser myself. All you have to do is follow step by step. Resist the urge to read on. Arrange each numbered part in in the correct order. Prepare a flat box for the components and arrange each package in alphabetical order. Do not open the package until ready to use, and put it back in the box in alpha order for multiple uses. The box is designed to pull any components that have fallen out of the box in. There used to be two things: Item #1, which is the top of the dresser, has guide holes on the bottom at the front of the dresser. There are two guide holes on the right inside of the top front and two above the left these are for the doorstops (Part E) The instructions require you to screw these parts in after the O above the dresser is safe. a place where you have the disadvantage of working against gravity. I see no reason why these doorstops could not be fitted before the top is attached to the dresser. The second problem that took my time was installing door hinges on four doors. The screw guide holes are barely a slot, and these doors are made from a much denser material than the rest of the case. The door hinges at the top of each door are fitted before the doors are inserted into the frame. The lower door hinges are fitted after the door has been inserted into the frame. You'll be grateful for this tip: take the time to create your own pilot holes (exactly where the manufacturer put the oversized pilot holes) in the top and bottom inside of the doors using one of the mounting screws provided. these loops. Do this before attempting to attach any of the loops. I really like the aesthetic of this piece. I particularly liked that the manufacturer chose to orient the doors so that the reverse angle of the wood structure was visible. Speaking of alignment. My doors are slightly offset, but I'm sure I can get a better alignment by adjusting the hinges a bit. Highly recommended!
