The clip is very light and will allow the device to accidentally slip out of your pocket if you bend over it unless it is secured in some other way e.g. B. in the most convenient pocket . As far as I can tell the clip seems to come loose if you take your thumb and press down fairly hard. After that I put it back on and it stays as strong as ever with no issues. The size is perfect for its intended purpose. It's heavy, so your video won't be as jumpy as it could be with a smaller, lighter device. It seems that after you connect the device to your computer and edit the time and date in a text file on the device/microSD card, it stays up to date. The remaining 4 settings are also retained; motion detection on/off; Turn on/off loop recording (overwrite old video first when card is full), turn on/off time and day stamp, selectable recording resolution is 1080, 720 or 480. -Fi enabled. That is not right. There is no wireless connection with this device. Audio and video are recorded and played back in excellent quality at a setting of 1080. The English translation of the manuals (the manual is available in English only) is extremely small and barely understandable, but mostly gets to the point. There is no battery level indicator or other way of communicating battery status, however the red light will turn off when the battery is fully charged. The recording lasted at least 4 hours. I installed a 64GB micro SD card and it lasted 4 hours at 1080 resolution with some headroom. It records video clips in 10-minute increments that can be played on most media players, including Windows Media Player and the default Windows 10 player. It's easy to tell if it's recording audio/video or just audio as described in the manual.
