We bought our bassinet a few weeks before our baby was born! Upon installation we found that it comes with 'anchors' so you can attach the carrycot to your bed! cool Only downside is we have a KING bed and the anchors have a hard time reaching the bottom of the bed! The cradle itself is AMAZING! Very spacious, the material is breathable and its durability is excellent! When our little one got sick we were able to get her out quickly and clean her and the bassinet quickly and easily! The downsides of the cradle itself - the mattress that comes with the kit is VERY hard. Our newborn preferred to lie in the bassinet for the first week of Fisher Price Rock N Play. So we got creative and put a changing pad on the mattresses! Now she enjoys the bassinet a lot more! Depending on how high your bed is, the bassinet may also be too short! We have a king bed which is slightly above average. Height. The top of the bassinet is about 5 1/2 inches from the top of our bed! Overall this cradle is fantastic and I highly recommend it! The only reason I give 4 stars is the mattress (it's really uncomfortable for newborns. Ours cried when we repeatedly tried to put her on it to sleep). Everything else is 5 stars!
