Be careful when storing a broom in a dustpan. If you do not use the brush DIRECTLY, the bristles will protrude straight out of the brush and you will not be able to straighten them out. What you now have is a brush that sticks out in all directions, making it difficult to hit the dustpan while sweeping. I never thought this would be a problem but here we are. My last brush and dustpan lasted 20 years. He was kicked out after two months. Looks good at first glance, I love that it has teeth for combing through the dirt, but the cheap plastic bristles are terrible in design. Wouldn't buy again.
