Ideal for cat food
I use them to feed our kittens who all have to eat in separate and weird areas so the big guy doesn't come and steal their food. Silicone food mats are not "hard" and you cannot wear them with food bowls. They also don't slide on the top and bottom and are much more affordable. Found a great opportunity.
