Needs rework

I liked the concept of the product but it definitely looks like an early product. I somewhat disagree with the product design. After untangling the audio cable, I was never able to rewind it as it seemed short by a few millimeters to properly drown out the audio jack. And while the thick cable feels solid, the cable's stiffness can be annoying during use. I also had an issue with the rubber bumper on the jack which fell off from time to time. Despite these issues, the stylus glides easily across screens and is reasonably comfortable in the hand. There is a noticeable lag when using this stylus. I tried several different Android devices and they all had the same latency issues. The lag is most noticeable at the end of the stroke, where it sometimes took a little longer even though the stylus was lifted. I tried to calibrate for hours but nothing worked. The devices I used were not very old, but cost no more than $200 on average. I felt that a more expensive device would detract from my goal of having "the world's cheapest smart pen". I wish there were more specific minimum specs for devices, not just OS. Please note that the number of compatible apps for this Android product is very limited. I used Ibis Paint X but the user interface was boring and made the calibration process painful. I hope MediBang will get better after implementation. Overall it works, but it definitely takes patience to get used to this pen.
