The perfect thickness to keep baby warm from the air conditioner in our southern summer. I just wear it with an overall underneath and it always seems to be very comfortable in terms of temperature. Nice and soft too. I will buy the next size up if he outgrows this size. Update: They lasted (in size) much longer than I thought and we still use them occasionally at 12 months but my boyfriend is small so it still fits. I can't praise this great quality enough and will buy it for every new baby in the family.
