I'm a broad shouldered man who wears 3xl-4xl shirts. These handers are wide enough to avoid those "peaks" on the shoulders of my shirts etc. for the most part. I love hanging my football, baseball and hockey jerseys on them for that reason and the fact that they can hold a very large amount of weight. These are great for jackets and heavy coats. The top slots are perfect for tank tops and the straight bottom is good for pants as well. My only issue is that 2 of them broke at the top where the bend for the hook is but being plastic and the fact that it's only 2 out of 72 purchased still makes them well worth the investment.
