Coats Outdoor Living, Scots Green Polyester Thread works like any other yarn. It fits perfectly with our sewing machine. The strength of the thread is more than sufficient for our use. I pulled and tugged at the thread several times, but it didn't break. It looks like the thread could last for several growing seasons. What We Bought This Item: We were given this thread to use in making our own landscaping cloth bags. Keep growing bags to get a head start in our garden this year. They are filled with soil and watered daily so the thread is always moist/wet. So far we haven't had any issues over the past 6 weeks and have moved and reinstalled several bags multiple times. The thread itself doesn't seem to have any problems.
