I may have spent more time than I needed trying to find a bolt to go in and make sure it was straight . I didn't find the paper template that handy as it doesn't perfectly expand to the same size as a towel rail unless you use lots of tape to keep it in place. So I just used the template as a general guide and for an ending. I lifted one end, then smeared petroleum jelly on the mount on the other end and pressed it against the wall so I knew exactly where to thread the other hole. Just hit a bolt, used a wall eyelet on the other end and it's holding up well. If you choose the right fasteners, it will be rock solid when screwed on.
