Looks pretty, but scrap metal, so it will come off after a few days

I wanted it to be a makeup remover. It looks great on my vanity and I love how it distributes the liquid. The problem is that my super non-reactive micellar water will corrode the inside and the blue stuff will fall out after a few days (nickel I think, like in cheap rings?). Note that this was advertised to hold super hard substances like acetone. What worries me is that I want to remove eye makeup. I don't want to face it, I'm afraid of going blind or something. Looks very nice but unusable.

Pros

High quality spring: built-in compression spring, used many times without deformation, durable. Easy to use, just place a cotton swab on the top of the pump and simply press down, the liquid will immediately rise to the surface and press onto the pad.
