Review on Melissa Doug Deluxe Wooden Lacing by Bill Pool

My 2 year old daughter loves to play with this. We thought it would be a great idea for a relaxing time and it is! She'll just sit down and lace them up and name all the shapes and colors. She really likes the variety of shapes. The only problem is that I wish they came in a better container to keep them in. This small box is not suitable for storage. Something that can seal would be a much better idea. In addition, since the container it comes in is made of cheaper and thinner wood, it is very noisy when pieces of wood are placed in it. I'm thinking about getting a container from the dollar store so she can fold it up and take it with me whenever we go out. It would be great in a restaurant setting. They are also very easy to wash out. I wouldn't wash them in the dishwasher like I do with most of their toys because they are made of wood.
