It's plastic but very thick and strong. I think the only two things that can be adjusted is the angle at which the controller sits at the slightest touch that can knock it off its base. And second, the cable has to rise and bend almost 90 degrees to connect it, so we'll see if that doesn't cause problems in the future. Also, it helped to clean my TV stand and get it out of the way while charging. You can't go wrong at the price of this item, it plugs into your Elite Series 2 and charges it constantly and it looks great! Best value for money if you want to hang ES2 on the wall!
