Needed to connect my computer to my 50" HD TV. Works great. Just make sure you know how long it will take before you buy it. Don't measure exactly. Make sure the tape measure has some slack as does the cable. If you just measure how far up the wall and how far from it you will be short. Also make sure you have some play on the back of the devices. You don't want them pulling when plugged in or it could loosen the entire assembly and ruin your TV or DVR. Just let him loose a little, that's all I'm saying. Don't buy an extra 10 feet you don't need, but make sure that it is not too tight. Or really buy 10 extra feet. Who knows, you might want to move the TV later. Or you might want to move everything a foot to make room for something, but don't give yourself wiggle room. This is the cable you need. You just have to figure out how much you need now. :)
