I bought this because families often gather at my house. I usually put all my food on the buffet style counter and never had a place to put my silverware so ended up putting it on the counter which I didn't like. I saw this and decided to give it a try. All of my large forks, small forks, spoons and butter knives fit in it. It was so neat and much cleaner than on the counter. It's really beautiful. Zippers and detachable compartments for easy cleaning or single use. Each of the compartments also has a few small holes in the bottom corners. So if you put freshly washed dishes inside and they aren't completely dry, the water will drain off instead of pooling on the bottom. The only thing I would change is to add space for napkins, but I just use a separate napkin holder, no big deal. Overall I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who has ever hosted a buffet style dinner at home or doesn't have a cutlery drawer.
