Cute but Diminutive
My kids live in slides and flip-flops in the summer, and when I saw these, I knew my 11 yo daughter would love them. She's had a major growth spur this year, and I noticed her size 7 sandals were starting to get a tiny bit small. I ordered these in an 8, thinking they'd be perfect.The shoe itself is cute. There is a bit of padding in the sole, and the sole has some texture to it to help prevent slipping on hard floors. The gold is a nice touch. It has a bit of a metallic luster to it, but it's not gaudy.Y'all, this was like that scene in Cinderella where the stepsisters were trying to shove their foot in the glass slipper. These things run SMALL. It didn't even pretend to fit. Unfortunate.
