Poor design for attaching to handle

Well constructed, quality thick squeegee edge I would give it five stars otherwise try to find a handle for its End has no thread. A normal threaded broom or a painter's telescopic rod will not work. You have to buy a threaded rod, cut the end off with your grandfather's pocket knife to make sure it's tight, then drill and attach the handle with screws, which only splits the handle in half. Push and pull 100% epoxy (not Rustoluem or Box Store epoxy, their paint is thinner), even if you lose it in the middle of painting and waste time, you don't have to fix it again. It MUST be threaded. The bottom line is that it spreads fine, but needs a bionic rod mount or your proverbial creek when the clock is ticking on your epoxy pot. What a shame for whoever designed the bar mount, you hear, Haviland?

Pros
  • EPDM - stiffer blade allowing prongs to stand up
Cons
  • weak
