It has a nice full sound for its size and while the FM radio mode is useless without an antenna, the USB mode works very well. Simply load a bunch of songs onto a flash drive, plug it in and enjoy hours of listening. Remember one thing; Make sure the downloaded songs are in MP3 file format and not WMA format, otherwise they will not play. However, at maximum volume the audio is a bit saturated/distorted, note that a radio of this size is not designed to play "Baby Got Back" or "C'mon Feel the Noise", it is designed to produce high quality sound deliver and comfort, it scores very well in both categories. The "Line in" mode also works very well. Simply connect the aux cable from the player to the back of the radio, turn both on and select 'line mode' on the radio. When you use an MP3 player, your sound depends on the quality of the MP3 player. I haven't had any issues with the older model of RCA player I use - the sound is great and the radio has good battery life. longer than an MP3 player. I haven't used the Bluetooth feature, so I can't comment on that.
