Review on πŸŽ’ Stylish Rucksack Backpack - Saint Maniero by Miriam Hettich

Style over convenience in computers and accessories

This bag was designed to carry my 17" laptop to and from the office in style. It's definitely stylish and my laptop technically fits in after using the side zip and undoing the inside button, but I'm coming back for several reasons: 1. Very little laptop padding inside. The canvas material is essentially the thickness of a large bag. There is a thin layer of foam on the back and on the divider. Not sure how it will mitigate every hit, looks like it was meant for pocket structure and not security.2. While it can technically function as a backpack, it's clear that it's intended as a top tote or crossbody bag. Even the inner pockets are designed to be accessed via the side zip. It comes with a strap which is comfortable but I need more shoulder support than the messenger strap provides. The backpack straps have mesh padding for a little extra cushioning, but it's thinner than most backpack straps and doesn't look like it will hold up as a backpack 100% of the time. Compressor. it's a FUR MAGNET! I have two furry animals, so fur can (and often does) go everywhere. This bag fell from a vertical position and when I picked it up it was COVERED in fur. Obviously this won't be an issue for everyone, but the canvas material seems to attract hair and dander like no other. Even after I took her fur off, I noticed she was collecting more lint right in the car. Too bad it didn't work for me because it's a really cute bag and great to take with you. Just don't pack it too tight or you'll feel it. Personally, I will go for a waterproof bag designed as a laptop backpack. Maybe I'll have better luck elsewhere.
