Review on ECOSI Bluetooth Headphones with Retractable Earbuds - Enhanced Connectivity for Conferences, Workouts, and Travel - Compatible with Android iPhone iPad (Black) by Mark Raj

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good for conversational audio

The main reasons I bought these were that they had separate forward/back and volume buttons and the ability to store the headphones. don't push in. These are sliders, so slide them parallel to the case "up", i.e. away from the headphone wires, or "down" - towards the cables. They work. No long presses, double taps, etc. I often use this type of headset for gardening and hiking. When working in the garden, your head is often in hedges/plants and it's easy to damage exposed wires, so being able to temporarily retreat completely is a good thing. They can also sit around my neck all day, so I can turn them on or off depending on what I'm doing and not have to hunt for separate headphones (which I also use for different activities). They're pretty cheap. built and I don't expect lifetime service, but it's spot on for some activities where you don't want to be walking around with $100 headphones. The sound quality is good for conversation, but not at all suitable for music. High-pitched sounds like cymbals are harsh and overdone, and bass sounds can be especially boomy and fuzzy. if you have thicker/larger rubber caps on your headphones. At this price point, it's unrealistic to expect more (although the Anker Soundcore Liberty Neos sound much better for music/movies at around $35). have a short fade-in time when you restart the audio either after pausing or after skipping forward/backward. This is bad when you're taking a language class because the first split second isn't heard. It's a little annoying that you have to go back even further to hear less than a second of a sentence. Not enough issue to change your rating. Also, I've decided that the shape is actually better than many hard neckband headphones. There is a slight forward downward curve as they pass over your shoulder blades while the others are in the same plane. They appear to form a person's natural curve.
