It's definitely as good if not better than the famous brand. I was skeptical because I'm a famous brand person and seriously willing to give this a thumbs down and pass it on to someone, but I was pleasantly surprised. The lid was taped shut to keep it from opening during transit and when I opened the jar I was surprised at how full it was. The cream is very thick and creamy. It also smells a minute, if at all. When I started putting my finger in it felt firm (very thick) and when I applied it settled well and absorbed into my skin. It's a bit oily so don't use too much. I would definitely buy again although I can see this jar last a while as a little bit goes a long way.
