Review on πŸ”Œ Electop 4-Way Splitter Adapter Power Charger Port for Cars, 12V 24V Cigarette Lighter Plug Socket Adapter, 12 inch Extension Cord Cable 18AWG with 20A Fuse by Kaylon Mackey

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The cable is thinner than expected.

The cable that connects the jack to the center connector is very thin on the inside. The insulation is thick, but the wires are not. The wire used is thinner than 18AWG and I'm assuming it's 20AWG. The wire going from the center connector to the real plug appears to be 16AWG, which is fine. But the cord that plugs into the outlets is too thin in my opinion, although 20 AWG should be able to handle 5 amps, so only use for small chargers. I would not run a CB radio or ham radio from this adapter or 12v cooler etc. The scanner might be ok, but it might not be. I wouldn't use a laptop charger, air compressor, or anything that draws more than 5 amps. I only needed real sockets, no cord for the project, so this item was ok for my situation. Cable Length - I believe it fits a splitter/multi-splitter. Sockets - The sockets are well constructed and fairly narrow to keep things plugged in. at least on the devices I've plugged in, including USB chargers, 18650 chargers, and other devices. With a cheap USB charger, I was able to unplug the USB cable by barely moving the item in the socket. Quality - Aside from the thinness of the cable overall, the rest of the splitter and socket are well made. Not very high quality but better than many things you will find.
