I really want to love these earrings because they look so elegant and beautiful. However, I can't wear them because the earrings are so thick. I couldn't put them through my ears. In addition, the thickness was uneven. One earring had thicker wire than the other. I will give them to someone who can use them. That issue aside, the earrings are beautiful. I like the design and the traditional look. They are heavier than most earrings, although the back is hollow and plated with gold. The earring has a rubber backing which unfortunately has been lost on one side. The corks come in a separate bag inside the box.
