My previous chair (MFTC200) hurt my back because of the hard mesh backrest. I sat in this one in the office I sometimes work in and I noticed my back pain went away after sitting in it for a few days instead of my previous home office chair. It's really well padded and I can sit in it. this chair all day. It is also very well built with solid materials. The smell everyone is complaining about is gone after a few days. Just because it stinks doesn't mean it will kill you, all the plastic our groceries are packaged in these days will make it a lot worse for you. Cons: - backrest doesn't adjust up/down - seat doesn't recline, only the backrest makes a great chair!
