Review on Extreme 3D Pro Joystick Windows by Paul Gim ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I should have looked for better, I spent my money on a mediocre product.

It is difficult to say anything about this joystick - it seems to be not bad, but at the same time bad. On the one hand, the joystick has a sufficient number of buttons, on the other hand, the buttons on the base are not comfortable to use. Most likely they were made taking into account the fact that 2 fingers will lie on them, and the thumb will control the thrust, however, pressing them in this position of the hand is uncomfortable (especially the next 2 buttons), and the thrust control will be inaccurate. The joystick also starts to play quickly - it already played out of the box (especially along the yaw axis), but someone will even like such play - without effort to make the slightest changes (the joystick completely returned to the zero position), because the joystick is quite accurate. However, after a month, the backlash has already become very noticeable, deviating 2-3 degrees up and down, and 10 (!) To the right side without returning to its original position (due to the fact that the joystick is for right-handers, the right side is the supporting side for the hand) . If you are burning with the desire to buy a joystick for some games, but are not sure what you will like and are not ready to buy something more serious (and expensive) - perhaps a good option to try, but there are other products of similar quality in this price segment. But remember that you will most likely have to make a decision rather quickly due to progressive backlash, and the price of this joystick will be additional to the next one. The joystick also requires drivers that are very old (2022), there may be installation problems, and all the functions of the driver-program itself are outdated and currently completely useless.

Pros
  • Pretty comfortable grip Stable, sticks well Joystick on the handle, which is configured as separate axes (does not work everywhere)
Cons
  • Button on the side of the handle (secondary fire) - when playing in the midst of a battle, it is often pressed by accident because it lies in the grip Starts to flicker quickly
