Review on 📷 Amcrest Water Proof IP Camera: Navigating the IP2M 850EB & IP4M 1053EW Compatible Models by Troy Simpson

PRO: I bought a junction box because I installed an IP2M-858W camera where I couldn't drill a 1" hole in the mounting surface to route the cables from the camera. The box also allowed me to mount the camera support arm to the box with 4.5/16" screws (included) after using 5/16" screws (not included) to attach the box . I found it easier when sitting on an extension ladder to manually screw the screws into the threaded holes in the box, already using snap-on screws to secure the box to the mounting surface. A somewhat bulky $370 camera detached from an extension ladder. I couldn't find any explicit instructions on using a mounting box to support the camera. This may be obvious, but it would be helpful to have guidance/recommendations from Amcrest.
