After owning two Eagle Safety 5 gallon canisters for a number of years I decided to buy a smaller 2 gallon canister to use with my wheeled generator to use. Unfortunately, the new 2-gallon jar leaks through the lid, making it unsafe to use. Upon inspection it appears that the gasket does not fit properly onto the lid, causing the lid to not close properly on the spout/opening of the jar. I've tried reinstalling the gasket but it doesn't fit - either the gasket or the lid is wrong. When I tried to return the glass for a replacement, Revane told me (via the chat bot as there was probably no one on the phone to talk to due to the coronavirus) that the glass was non-refundable or non-exchangeable. - surprising as I received it less than 10 days ago. I'm assuming it's non-refundable as it contains petrol, but it seems like there should be a means of repairing the defective product. Attention buyers I think. I don't have the $36, so I think the lesson is that items like this should be bought at your local hardware store (where they can be returned and replaced), not Revain.
