I bought this blanket to use in a basket as decoration under our entry table. I love it for what I use it for. The blanket looks beautiful and is a beautiful color. If you plan to use it as a decoration rather than a cozy blanket on the couch, this is absolutely perfect. This is my personal opinion as I've never been this crazy about cotton knit blankets. I prefer chenille or sherpa for my blankets to curl up in for a good movie. The tassels on the underside of the blanket also required special attention after washing. I had to remove some of the lint and just run my fingers over it to make it look a little prettier. It would have been fine without it, but since I was using it more as a decoration I thought it looked better that way. Disclaimer: This blanket generates a lot of lint when you wash and dry it. So many that I had to empty the lint filter twice and it was completely full. After washing this comforter, I actually cleaned the dryer vents. Although I expected it. If you've ever washed a cotton blanket, this is perfectly normal. Overall, this is a great option if you're looking for a blanket that's more for looks than actual use, or if you prefer cotton. If you're looking for a nice blanket to snuggle up to while watching a movie or reading a book on a rainy day, then this might not be the best choice for you. I bought an item from the Amazon warehouse at a discount. The blanket was listed as being in acceptable condition as it had a defect. Since the duvet had to be folded up and tucked into a duvet, this worked for my needs.
