I've been a music lover with expensive gear for a long time and prefer a smooth natural sound over a harsh and elevated high end sonic signature. Out of the box they seemed too bright and didn't improve the sound for me. After some break-in (a few hundred hours) they sounded better, but I switched back to my cheap 14g bare copper speaker cable and it only sounded better to me. More natural and less harsh, but still more detailed. I don't understand the freely rotating banana fork. It seems that the contact area with the banana fork itself is not enough. I'll probably either sell them or cut the ends off and try bare wire.
