Despite my skepticism, this power cord has improved my 2-channel hi-fi system in every respect: increased dynamics, wider sound stage, tighter bass, softer vocals and better instrument separation. In fact, I got the meaning of all those audiophile terms back after spending a whole weekend reviewing the changes Cord made. Music has become more exciting and exciting than before. I can confidently say that the improvements justify the selling price and I could see differences in blind tests. For reference, my system costs about $4,000. The retail price of the cable compared to the total cost of my system seems a reasonable ratio (around 4%). If your system costs less, you can get a bigger performance boost by upgrading your source or DAC. Making that choice is part of the fun of the hobby. There may be cheaper power cords out there, but unless I can borrow test cords for free (hint), I won't bother buying and testing alternatives as I'm happy with them.
