This review is for "Prextex Christmas 100-Count Multi Color Green Wire Light Set Christmas Decorations". Notice that the bulbs are about 2 inches apart, which is closer than the 4 inches of some of the other filaments. In about three weeks of use, a few bulbs blew out, and now, seven weeks after I started using these bulbs, five bulbs have blown. . Two of these went out when I replaced the adjacent lightbulbs. For some reason, every time I put in a new lightbulb, the lightbulb next to it would immediately burn out. (I used the spare bulbs that came with it.) The two burned out bulbs intermittently came back on. I don't know why it happened. I checked they were securely inserted and even pulled them out to make sure the two leads were correctly positioned on the sides of the lamp base. It is possible that broken threads sometimes come into contact with the other side. We use this thread in our living room, not outside, and it runs along the ceiling and is never disturbed. It stays on most of the time, but we sometimes turn it off by unplugging the power strip it's plugged into. The lights also don't always follow the same color sequence, sometimes two colors of the same color are too close together. It doesn't bother me much, but it's another sign of poor quality control. I figured that by paying $14 and not the lower prices of cheaper brands I would get a longer lasting blonde streak. Maybe this strand is an accident, but I wouldn't try this brand again. The return window is closed but luckily Revane let me return it anyway.
