The colors these lamps produce are beautiful. The remote dims them, they can pulse etc. I bought them specifically because of the timer function on the remote. The remote timer is very easy to use. However, the batteries will die for several weeks if the timer is continuously on every day. I am updating this review after 3 more weeks of use after posting this first review. I changed the batteries in the headlights because the batteries were leaking, so I figured that's why the headlights went out so quickly. The batteries I changed came from new packaging. 2 days later the light went out again. I opened the battery pack and liquid ran out of the batteries AGAIN. As a result, I had to throw those lamps away. I'm disappointed they were so beautiful and comfortable with a timer. I put them in homemade glass hanging lamps.
