I ordered this model to replace an old player. When I received it I couldn't get the player to work. After speaking to the supplier's technician we were not able to figure out what the problem was as the CD and cassette players worked perfectly. I was ordered to return it for a replacement - shipping was forty-four dollars and some change. When I was replaced, the player didn't work either. Disappointed by that time I assumed it was just a bad model. Then he accidentally pulled the auxiliary jack forward and the platter started spinning. I just played my first LP and it sounded fantastic.
