Review on Dorman 85462 Quick Waterproof Splice by Tim Thornton

Bought for "quick" connection of the reversing camera to the plus wire of the reversing lights. When I did that, the backup camera wouldn't turn on when reversing. Luckily I had a multimeter and checked everything. At first I thought the reversing camera was defective. After much thought, I realized that the schism was to blame! After checking the wire, the quick disconnect didn't break even installing the two wires. It was very frustrating and I had to manually connect the two wires together. The product was unusable. I would return it but it doesn't cost a $5, 30 minute round trip to get it back. All in all I am very disappointed with this product.
