I bought this jacket for hiking. I needed a new jacket, warm but light and inexpensive. I received the jacket just before a trip to Utah where temperatures have dropped below 20F (-6C). This jacket has kept me warm when paired with insulation. It also doesn't make me feel like a Michelin man and I don't lose freedom of movement in my arms. When not in use, it easily tucks back into the pocket for easy portability in my backpack. It is very light and does not weigh down my backpack. I am very happy with this purchase and love that I had a wide range of colors to choose from. It keeps me warm, which I really appreciate as the cold takes the fun out of hiking or camping. With this jacket I no longer have this problem.
