WILL NOT START YOUR CAR

This will NOT start your car! I had a cut and the remote is programmed to unlock the doors, it works. However, even the dealer could not program the transponder to start the car. DO NOT BUY. This is on a 2006 LX470 which the ad says will work. Since the key is shortened, I think I'm stuck with the purchase price + locksmith fee for cutting.
