I was surprised by the quality of this shirt. It looks a bit thick and very well made. I will say that I also ordered a two-pocket twill model, which was a bit thinner. This photo shows it after a single wash/dry. I didn't iron it, just took it out of the dryer. It seems to have shrunk a bit, making it a little shorter. It was very minimal but just enough for the husband to wear casually over it. Before washing it was too long to wear in my opinion. Now everything is perfect. However, it is still long enough to be refilled. I didn't notice any inward contraction, so it doesn't appear to have tightened. I love that it can be flattened/tucked in depending on whether he wants to be more casual or more formal. My husband wears casual business to work so this is perfect. Being 100% cotton, these shirts tend to shrink very little over long periods of time. It's just the nature of cotton. To make it last longer, I air dry it in the dryer without a heater. I'm too lazy to hang/iron shirts. My husband is 5'10 and 160 pounds with a 31 inch waist. He's not super skinny, but he's slim. I would say it's below average. In general, I will order more!
