Review on High-performance Nighttime BAK Retinol Alternative infused with Bakuchiol & Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil, 1.7 Ounce by Keisha Dessie

Expensive but also suitable for women

I am in my late 40's with dry, sensitive skin which has become even more sensitive through my work as a swimming instructor and coach. I use retinol at night. I usually use the Peter Thomas Roth Retinol Fusion PM night serum, which has a significant amount of retinol, is moisturizing but expensive. I've heard a lot about bakuchiol and wanted to try it, but didn't want to risk giving up retinol, so I added it as my morning routine instead of the recommended evening routine. Seeing no problem, I started dripping retinol every night and using that instead. . . until I only used it at night. I don't feel like the fine lines are back, but I can't swear there has been an improvement. So I believe this is a good substitute for retinol. It comes in a toothpaste-like tube, making it easy to dose just the right amount. When it's almost empty you can remove the pump to pour out the rest without the feeling of throwing it away. The tube protects against minor damage. I usually prefer products without flavors and this one didn't seem to have any, just natural flavors so I appreciate that. The cream itself is medium thick but I was able to spread it on very easily. light rubbing. There was no sticky feeling after use. I had no redness or peeling but my chin popped out. Whether this was due to this product or regular use of the mask I'm not sure. I really felt like my skin was hydrated initially, but by the morning my skin was getting dry. I think in the future I will continue to use retinol in the evenings and this one in the mornings.
