The best odor eliminator after a pet accident

This is a back order. Really solves the root of the odor problem in indoor accidents. The carpet cleaner that came out after I cleaned the rug in the dining room where my mom's dog had stained the rug was impressed with its effectiveness. Be sure to apply more product to the area than you think is needed to treat the stain. Urine stains are like icebergs: most of the odor-causing debris resides under the carpet in the pad and is spread over an area 3-4 times the visible area of the stain. Pour it in, walk on it with clean shoes to soak it and leave it alone! Don't get wet, just let it dry naturally as the enzyme action works best. The odor intensifies during the first 48 hours and then disappears as the enzymes work. There may be a stain on the surface of the carpet, but it can be easily removed with regular carpet cleaning. AIP works with cat urine (two treatments) and reliably soaked dog urine after one treatment. On the other hand, carpet cleaners that polish the surface of the carpet do NOT clean the carpet. Get a hot water vacuum or hire someone to vacuum hot water! You need plenty of water and a good vacuum to remove dirt from carpets. After the carpet was treated and professionally cleaned, the dog did not recontaminate that (or any other) area.
