First I bought a Garvey pistol. jammed, the trigger did not work. The tags are in there, although I bought Garvey tags to put in the gun. So true to the form of Revain, they immediately refunded my money. I needed a gun for a craft show that I was selling. So I read all the reviews and decided on the Monarch. It works like a dream! Never stick, markers never get stuck, trigger is always smooth. The system works perfectly. I've had to tag over 200 items and never had a problem. Never had to set up tag hacks. I pocketed the needle, loaded the spikes, and drove into town. LOVE IT Other guns in retail stores sell for over $40.00 which is tremendous value.
