Amazing Cat Stand Best Practice Tree

I saw that this cat tree had over a hundred positive reviews on another website so I ordered it. Assembled in less than 30 minutes. Strong, durable stand IF YOU MAKE SURE IT IS TIGHTENED PROPERLY. The smooth floor is very easy to walk on. I have four young cats and three male cats are very active and play aggressively. They liked these boners straight away, but the great thing is that despite their rough texture, they're also very soft. They love to sleep on perches and are very calm when resting. The material is not a carpet but some kind of plush cover, but whatever, they use a lot of sisal poles for scratching. The base material is a chipboard rather than plywood, which is great because you can glue together many other hanging toys from different places. My cats weigh between 11 and 13 pounds and that's enough for them including perches. The other reason I got this was because of my fourth cat's health. She is a lifeguard who has had constant lung problems; she always hid under the beds and avoided the males, which made it difficult for her, since my floors are tiled, you can't get rid of the dust. After watching the new show My Cat From Hell, I loved the advice on giving pride to cats. It worked. It took her a few days but she has got used to the tree and now stands on it most of the time and not off the ground. As in the series, she has become calmer, friendlier and more approachable. She plays more and now something in her lungs is noticeably thinning and coughing. The best part is that she started purring for the first time since she was a kitten. I cannot describe what this stupid tree has done for the morale and quality of life of all my cats. I plan to buy a second one so they have more space to linger. and the toy mouse he came with is still holding on after being repeatedly attacked by all 4 cats! :) Update: To date, 09/30/11, the mouse is still connected despite massive abuse. One of the top towers is a little loose from the rough play of the cats so it's easy to fix, get a dowel, some washers and screws and I just got the dowel from the underside of the perch on the floorboard nearby fastened to the post, and it strengthened the perch. Total cost of materials was about $3 and took less than five minutes to complete. My cats love it. Update: 6/1/12, the stand still works, the mouse is still attached! Update: 06/15, the stand is still my cat's favorite spot and the mouse is still attached! Disclaimer: No cats were harmed in the making of this film; Tubby's professional stunt double was used for the Tower Fall scene.
