I'm Chromy - I've worked with a Chrome OS computer for many years. I am also a notary and credit broker. I bought this printer and an optional paper tray (from another source) so I can print on a variety of paper sizes on the fly - both letter and legal. I've seen warnings from Brother that their printers aren't compatible with Chrome OS, which isn't entirely true. I can print to this printer's Letter-OR-Legal tray from my Chrome OS computers, but I still can't print a single PDF file using different paper sizes, and the printer automatically selects the paper size. I ended up having to break down and buy a cheap Windows laptop and install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (free version) to do this. Printing to this printer is the only thing I use a Windows machine for.
