Review on Fancyeel Universal Shift Carbon Adapter by Unm Weil

The weighted ball feels feels good and I love the look of the carbon fiber/kevlar kevlar bullet. I had a lot of trouble installing this on my M12 x 1.25 thread pitch switch. None of the adapters even come close to matching the M12. Two of them have M10 threads with different thread pitches, the other has M8 threads. I don't know of any M8 threaded manual switches, but some automatic ones do. I tried putting the ball right on my derailleur and it didn't last long, but I kept playing with it and eventually got it to do a few spins. I probably twisted something (hopefully the knob and not my switch) but it's tight and I can't tighten it any further so maybe it's ok. Carvings under the handle which doesn't look very good. Overall it was a disappointing experience but the description clearly says M12x1.25 and that it fits Subaru so I wanted it to work. It doesn't peel or fade at all after a week in the sun, so I'm happy with the overall quality. The color goes really well with Rally Blue so it's a shame it doesn't go better with Subaru. I just think Streams could be better and easier to understand. If you have a smaller M8 or M10 thread on your derailleur the inserts should work fine and I don't think you will have the same issues as me but to me this is just an average product and could use improvement.
